Jim Fox OBE

‘GB and REME Olympic Gold medal winning hero Jim Fox OBE OLY sadly passed away recently.  Jim being the kind and generous man he was, donated his 1976 Olympic vest to a charity auction in the 1970s.  The vest has now been donated to The REME Museum and will be officially unveiled on Friday 18 August 2023 at the REME Museum, Calne Road, Lyneham SN15 4XX.  1200hrs start.  We also have the memorial garden in the Museum grounds which will be an appropriate place for us to quietly reflect on Jim’s magnificent life and his recent passing.  If you wish to attend please email engagement@remecharity.org as we need to have an idea of numbers attending.  Thank you.’
