Chairmans Message

Dear AOBA Family, 

Due to rising costs at Jurys Inn (>30%) it has been necessary to seek out an alternative venue.  I have been on the case for a little while now as the REME Reunion has also been hit with similar price increases. 

I am now both pleased and relieved to say that we have found a more than suitable venue and, by booking for three years, for both events, we have leveraged and secured much more favourable prices. 

The venue is the Delta Hotel on the M40 at Warwick.  It is centrally located and allows us similar access to the NMA as before.  This link provides more information – Delta Marriott Warwick.  I am also informed that the hotel will have undergone a complete renovation before our reunion in 2023.  I intend to spend a weekend there later this year and will use it as a “Secret Shopper” exercise!  It’s a super location for the likes of Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle should anyone else fancy a look. 

The following dates have now been booked on our behalf:  

2023       Fri 16 – Sun 18 Jun 23 

2024       Fri 14 – Sun 16 Jun 24 

2025       Fri 13 – Sun 15 Jun 25
